Self pic! It’s ah…mazing how getting your hair done makes you feel! Body feels great from eating clean + great hair do = great date night for me and the hubby! Love date nights!
Day 9…
Feeling so good and skinny! Not a good day for my diet, I had a bag of chips and a cookie. So I would have lost 2 points. Everything else was good. I am trying NOT to slide back into bad habits. When the stress is turned up, I tend to make poor food choices. Let’s see if I can go a week being compliant! Stay strong, eat clean!
Day 8! So happy!
Wow, back to normal again! Ate completely clean today. Ran to Publix for some Larabars and ran home. Record time 11:30/mi… Been at 12/13 min/mi for about a year! Thank you Crossfit! Great day=back on track! We can do this!
Seven
Yes, 1 week of weakness. Time to step up the game and get back into the mode! No sugar, no corn, no dairy, no processed foods… I can do this! Feel so much better when I eat clean!
Day 6…
Don’t judge! It’s my birthday! I only took two bites and it made me have indigestion! However, those two bites were just enough! Otherwise a successful day!
Blogging blah…
I’m not much of a blogger, but I am so trying to be. I am so hooked on this Crossfit thing now, that I want to try for the games. Realistically, I know it will take me at least 2-3 years to get even close but what the hey!
Also, I’ve recently started the whole life challenge. Needless to say, it’s very… Challenging!
I have never gone without sugar in my entire life! We always grew up with mashed potatoes or some sort of potato and bread was at every meal. I now know why I am so overweight. Yes, I know, some of you are thinking, overweight? Yes! Unless I am active 7 days a week the poundage starts to accumulate and well, we all know what happens. Not to mention that I LOVE food. I think I was a food critic in my past life.
I’m rambling… Anyway, since I’ve started this challenge, I’ve gotten the best compliments and it is only week 3! I can’t wait to see the end result and that will be near my 35th birthday! What a present to myself! Stay strong!
Yes… That’s my first max deadlift at 195#! Thanks to my hubby who helped me. And let me tell you… (those without significant others just skip over) working out with the one you love is amazing. I don’t know what it is, but this Saturday was the first weekend I saw my man all swoll up from lifting! He is HOT! So happy!
Also, it’s so much easier to be healthy when you have someone supporting you! Can’t wait to see what unfolds during the whole life challenge on September 15th! Bettah watch out!
Still new at this blogging shtuff! I will try and add more pics… I would have gotten the whiteboard prior to working out, but I was in too much awe of the booty whoopin that was about to go down. So, tonight we started with 24 Rds of Tabata Abs and do I have some abs that need work! It hurt so good!!
Our WOD tonight was a one mile run (I had to do 2K meter row, ankle still hurts), 60 floor wipers, and 30 hang cleans. Booyah! Just typin it gets me all hyped up again. Now I know my philosophy on how I do my lifting may be different from yours-but remember, I’m new… So, I may not have had the heaviest weight in the room, but I almost did my hang cleans unbroken! Oh yeah! I can work on my strength lil by lil, but to me, technique and form are much more important in these early stages! Oolah lah, it’s so much fun!
The most accomplishing fact is that I ate healthy when I got home! Egg whites, Avocado, and almonds!
Mind you, I am still in the training for SAV! So, these feet HAVE to get better or I may just have to run with the pain(typical runner, eh?)!
Moe pics to come!
Do Epic… Shtuff!
Peace out!
It’s all about learning…
Jumped on the scale today… Just for fun, HA! No fun for me! Felt like I was on The Biggest Loser! Definitely got me motivated to take action even more! When I got home tonight, took over and helped the kids to bed. Then, I had to dig deep and make my food for tomorrow. Even though I get FREE food at work, the best choices I can never decipher the amount of calories. So I have to take matters into my own hands!
Feel great calculating calories and exercise. The choices I thought were okay, we’re not so. Woo Hoo! Here’s to health!
Peace Out!
